PictureCadence and Annika ended up as Regional Champions in their divisions!

The USCET had a blast at our hosted show (sponsored by Valencia Sport Saddlery) on February 28th and 29th at Hansen Dam, accruing many excellent individual placings and accolades in the show ring. Most notably, our team captain Emma Krenzke earned Zone 8 Region 2 Cacchione Cup Champion, and our team  president Annika Hoy was the Regional Hight Point Rider! To top it off, our team also accumulated enough points to win team champion honors  on Sunday, as well as clinching the Zone 2 Region 8 championship by 2 points! The hard work and effort of our amazing coach, team horses,  and enthusiastic  team members has really paid off and we are so excited for zones in April, hosted by Stanford University!

In addition, as we enter the final weeks of our season, we want acknowledge also the following team members for their success qualifying for regionals on March 5th:
Cory Cochran - Intermediate Fences
Annika Hoy - Intermediate Fences & Flat
Cadence Cisneros - Novice Fences
We wish them good luck as they go on to compete individually at zones.

Lastly, we would  like to offer our sincere thanks to our amazing group of sponsors. We would be able to do what we do without their continued support of our program. Thank you all!

USCET with Reed (right) of County Saddlery
We were so pleased to welcome Reed, a representative of the Southern California branch of our wonderful new sponsor, County Saddlery, to our barn yesterday during our new member orientation barbecue event. Reed generously provided us with an in-depth session on proper saddle fitting for our horses. Everyone learned something new, to say the least!

We are so thankful to have sponsors that care so deeply about the quality and mechanics of their products, and  who are willing to share their vast knowledge of saddle fit and function with us!

In addition, we would also like to extend a warm, USCET welcome to all of our new members joining the team this semester. We look forward excitedly to getting to know these new, talented riders, and integrating them into our show rosters in the coming months!
